Tenderup is Australian construction estimating software for fire and electrical contractors. We are based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, we were founded in 2026, and we were built inside a fire contractor that was losing a week to every tender it priced.

We make estimating and tendering software for Australian fire protection and electrical contractors. Drawings go in; a checked take-off, a costed job and a finished tender letter come out. Fire and electrical are live today. Hydraulic and mechanical are in early access.
Everything we price is priced in Australian dollars, against Australian Standards, for Australian tenders. That is not a market we expanded into. It is the only one we have ever built for.
Tenderup did not start as a software idea. It started as a problem in a tender room.
The people who built it run a fire protection contracting business on the Gold Coast — designing, installing and servicing fire systems across Queensland. Every tender that came in started the same way: forty sheets of drawings, six device types, a legend that moved between revisions, and somebody sitting down to count detectors for the better part of a week. Then a re-issue would land two days before close and a good chunk of that week would go again.
The counting was never the skilled part. The judgement — what is in scope, what the drawings are quietly assuming, what the builder has left out, what it will actually cost to install — that is the skilled part, and it was the part getting squeezed by the counting.
So we built something to do the counting, trained on our own drawing archive: real Australian tender sets, from real consultants, in the state they actually arrive in. It worked well enough on our own tenders that other contractors started asking whether they could use it.
That is what Tenderup is. It was built by the customer, for the job the customer actually does.
Fire — live. Detection and alarm (dry fire) and sprinklers, hydrants and hose reels (wet fire), each with its own trained detection model and its own costing sheet. Detectors, call points, sounders, panels and interfaces on the detection side; heads, valves, hydrants, hose reels and boosters on the sprinkler side, with pipework derived from the head count the way an estimator builds it by hand.
Electrical — live. Outlets, lighting, switchboards and containment, with cable derived per device. Security, communications and data, MATV, EV charging, solar and battery, nurse call, generators and UPS, AV and HV sit inside the electrical package as sub-trades, each with its own costing sheet.
Hydraulic and mechanical — early access. Being built on the same engine. We will tell you they are coming; we will not sell them to you as though they had arrived.
And in every case the path is the same one: the take-off is counted and marked on the drawing for you to check, the count is costed from your price book and your labour rates, and the priced job becomes a tender letter in your format with your scope, inclusions and exclusions — plus RFQ packs out to your sub-trades. Minutes, not days.
This matters more than it sounds like it should.
The detection models were trained on Australian tender drawing sets — consultant issues, builder-issued sets, flattened scans, half-legible re-issues — so they recognise devices as they are actually drawn here, across the drafting conventions in use in this country, rather than one idealised legend from somewhere else.
The device vocabulary is the Australian one. The costing structure is the one Australian estimators use. The tender letter comes out in the format an Australian head contractor expects to receive. Prices are in Australian dollars. Support is in Australian hours, from the Gold Coast.
We are a small Australian company and we would rather be unmistakably the right fit for Australian fire and electrical contractors than a vague fit for everyone.
We launched in 2026. We are not going to dress that up.
